Born in the north east of England, Sarge hails from a vastly underrepresented area within the music industry. Drawing from his eclectic tastes, he finds himself writing music influenced by a multitude of genres, ranging from heavy metal to dance, folk to hiphop and everything in between.
With ambitions to top line on as many different genres as he can get his teeth into and a thirst for collaboration, he aspires to be a prominent figure behind the scenes within the music industry.
”It’s like losing your arm was selling your soul to the devil”
Delving into the implications of greed and bringing to light conventions built upon consumerism, experience a solid connection between musicality and lyricism. The instrumental has a drive that inspires thoughts of monotony, and a melancholic connection to something sinister and never ending, that you feel a need to take heed of. Within the dialogue we have a short repetitive message that seemingly gives a feeling of warning, the opening passage ‘the truth, the lies, deceit she cries, we wait, as a country stands in shame’, directly influenced from Alexis on fires 'sons of privilege’, instantly throws us into a real life economical landscape.
We find no reel conclusion or any form of resolve, instead we experience inevitability and an understanding for our reality.
New single “Blood Money” out now.
The truth the lies deceit she cries we wait as a country stands in shame.
Beneath your wings our endless springs erode, now stand and take the blame.
We build and break consume the fake, the scream, it’s the poison of the mind.
The masses chew on all you feed, they bleed n pay to be kept blind
So here we stand, under command, it’s real, in the mirrors and the smoke.
We can’t help but feel it’s a cruel joke.
But what’s the true cost, when so many are dead?
I guess the colour of money is red.
